1967 Salvarani Italian Champion Jersey
1967 Salvarani Italian Champion Long Sleeve Jersey - White/Red
Another De Marchi exclusive, the 1967 Salvarani Italian Champion Jersey is mean to honor Italy's greatest cyclo-crosser: Renato Longo. A gregario to Gimondi, Motta and Adorni, Longo found his way to the top in cyclocross and won 5 World Championships and 12 National ones in between 1959 and 1972.
A Vittorio Veneto native, Longo has been one of the greatest living ambassador for De Marchi and a true local hero.
This 100% Merino wool replica is still made on those same old-school machines as back in the day in Longo's hometown and features original chainstitch embroidery, three back cargo pockets plus two on the front with real mother-of-pearl buttons.
The Salvarani Italian Champion long sleeve jersey is perfect for Fall and Winter training thanks to Merino’s unique thermal properties with relatively light weight.
